• Good to Know: Happy Hour 4-7 p.m. Monday – Friday. The restaurant is run by the same family of professionals who created and built Joe T. Garcia’s restaurant, a staple in the local Fort Worth community.

• Good to Know: They park beside the Foodland Markets grocery store, and on Wednesdays, Wing Wednesday Happy Hour is from 8-9 p.m.

Review: The wings at Gabe’s Chicken are the best I have ever had. The breaded spicy Korean flavor is my personal favorite, but it really is not spicy. I get the combo because they have well-seasoned crinkle-cut fries. The mango-habanero was also delicious, and in our opinion, was spicier than the Spicy Korean, but still low in spice.  – Kendal Clark

• Good to Know: Lots of options to choose from and lots of televisions to watch sports.

Review:  If you are looking for a place for lunch with a TCU flair, try Rex’s Bar & Grill.  This is a great spot, and it’s decked out with a ton of TVs and sports memorabilia.  The menu is full of great options.  I tried their award-winning burger called “The Showdown”.  It comes with all the works as well as two patties.  Fries also come with your meal. Price ranged from $15-$20.00 with tax and a tip.  Overall, great spot. I will visit again. – Lewis Jackson

• Good to Know: When I arrived, it was open seating. Vegetarian options are available for those interested, but they do not accept reservations.

Review: King Tut has delicious Mediterranean food. I enjoyed the regular hummus and pita bread as an appetizer and the Falafel Salad as my entree. The service was great, and the staff are very kind and sociable. – Kendal Clark

Review:  I enjoyed the pork soup dumplings, fried rice, fried egg rolls and chocolate dumplings for dessert! It was my first time trying it and I will definitely be returning. I like the convenient location to Arnold Hall and the staff is very friendly. • Parking: Parking is tough because there is a Starbucks connected, and customers are getting both.
• Hours: 10:30 a.m.- p.m., 7 days a week
• Good to Know: They offer rewards points and often double them on certain holidays, etc. Points add up, and you can use them toward meals.  Right now, I have over 32K.

Review:  This is my go-to spot and has been for years. I always get the medium turkey on wheat with chips and a drink. The price is $12.87. It’s a good, solid meal that is just enough to fill you up and not put you to sleep when you get back to work. – Lewis Jackson
