TCU Gives Day Challenge Donors: Joan Rogers and Dr. Tom Rogers
This year, the couple will be Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine's challenge donors for TCU Gives Day, which begins at Noon on Oct. 6 and ends at Noon on Oct. 7.
FORT WORTH – Joan Rogers and Dr. Tom Rogers have been part of the TCU story for nearly 70 years, and their support for their alma mater has been steady every step of the way. Tom retired after a 58-year career as a primary care pediatrician, and Joan serves as a TCU Trustee Emeritus. Their connection to the Burnett School of Medicine is especially personal. They have created an endowment for academic excellence in 2021 and later funding an endowed scholarship, hoping to inspire others to do the same. This year, the couple will be our school’s challenge donors for TCU Gives Day, which will be Oct. 6-7.

“Supporting the Burnett School is pretty much a ‘no-brainer’ for us,” the couple said. “Getting acquainted with many faculty members and staff and meeting some of the truly amazing students has only increased our eagerness to be involved.”
