TCU Marketing & Communications Visit Highlights Impact of Medical Education
Texas Christian University Marketing and Communication team members toured Arnold Hall at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.
FORT WORTH – At their monthly meeting, Texas Christian University Marketing and Communication team members donned virtual reality headsets to get a glimpse of the future of medical education.
“It’s inspiring and it has a real tangible impact on real world problems,” said Merianne Roth, EMBA ’24, Vice Chancellor of Marketing & Communication for TCU. Each month, Roth takes her team members to different areas of the TCU campus. “Burnett School of Medicine has been amazing,” she said.
Roth said the meeting at Arnold Hall at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU drew one of the highest attendances for any of the meetings because everyone is interested about what’s happening at the medical school.
Attendees took a tour of the building and experienced some the innovative approaches to teaching medicine in the simulation and technology lab and the clinical skills exam rooms.
“These medical students and the faculty and staff who work here are really changing the face of medical education,” Roth said.
