Video Series Coming Soon: ‘How I Literally Survived Medical School’
A new video series from the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University explores the lives of medical students navigating their own patient care while working to become physicians.
Medical Students often describe learning medicine as “drinking from a firehose.” A massive volume of information delivered at a rapid, relentless pace, countless hours of studying, grueling exams and long clinical shifts would take and emotional and physical toll on anyone. What if you were a medical student as well as a patient? In the new video series, “How I Literally Survived Medical School,” real-life medical students share the struggles they’ve faced living with chronic conditions and near-death experiences. They discuss how the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU faculty and staff helped them through their most difficult times in their journeys to become physicians.
