“We both have a passion for education as it provides a foundation for lifelong learning and career success for many,” the couple said. “Affording a university education is often a stretch, or even an impossibility, for families. College education loans are an option, but large loans can turn into a long-term burden for many graduates.”
Mr. and Mrs. Hoefs have established four endowed scholarships at TCU, benefitting students in Nursing, Ranch Management and children of Disciples of Christ ministers. They have also included TCU in their future estate plan.
“Creating endowed scholarships at TCU helps address these challenges while also establishing a lasting legacy of our passion for education that provides support for TCU students forever,” the couple said. “Getting to know our scholarship recipients shows us that the future will be bright. It is a joy for us to help these young people further their education.”
