The Office of Faculty Development is pleased to present our June 2023 Grand Rounds, “Clarifying Wellbeing: Finding Ways to Make Wellbeing Meaningful and Useful to You and Your Work”, facilitated by Dr. Craig Keaton. Dr. Keaton is the Assistant Director of THRIVE Medical Student Wellbeing here at the Burnett School of Medicine.
This Grand Rounds session will be held on Tuesday, June 20th from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the following Zoom link: https://tcu.zoom.us/j/99293576969
“The clarity with which you define something determines its usefulness.” Wellbeing seems great in the abstract, but what is it really? What do you do with it? And how can you use it, harness it, or practically apply it day-to-day? In this brief, interactive workshop, you will explore wellbeing-related questions to help clarify what wellbeing means for you and formulate your own wellbeing how-to so that you can transform life and work obstacles into to opportunities for growth.
In this session, Dr. Keaton will walk us through how to do the following:
- Define and describe wellbeing;
- Explore wellbeing’s relevance to your work and its place in medicine;
- Begin to identify personal wellbeing-related needs;
- Apply wellbeing to address an are of growth in your life and practice.
We hope you will take the time to join us for this meaningful, timely, and relevant Grand Rounds session. Please email MDFacultyDev@tcu.edu with any questions or concerns.
