The Compassionate Practice Workshop I: Empathetic Reflection

Time and meeting details forthcoming.

In this workshop participants will focus on cultivating the practice of empathetic reflection. Self-awareness is fundamental to effective communication and collaboration with others. Recognizing personal biases and associations and understanding one’s own thoughts, feelings and behaviors allows a person to make deliberate choices about how to express oneself and connect with others. We will use contemplative practices rooted in Narrative Medicine and theater pedagogy to teach a process of self-reflexivity.
